Do You Have Layoff Information?

After I wrote about the layoffs at Frontiers, which announced it would slash its workforce by 1/3 to deal with financial stresses, I received enough emails from people at other organizations suggesting there are more layoffs going on in our market than are being announced.

I’d like to know — and to be able to share — some specifics.

This is especially salient as newspapers especially but media organizations generally are dealing with massive layoffs these days, making it more of a widespread phenomenon if it is also going on in scholarly and scientific publishing, but quietly.
