India’s Big Subscription Deal

Coverage of "One Nation, One Subscription" is sketchy, and only a few publishers get most of the money

The buzz of the recent week has been a noticeably tentative celebration around the “One Nation, One Subscription” deal with India, where some of the largest and best-known publishers have secured more than $715M in subscription fees over the next three years for providing access to more than 6,300 institutions in India.
