A silly click-bait study promoted by weak coverage — again

Nature News continues to charm, covering a questionable paper the Royal Society published in their 10-year-old OA journal. Some authors from Hungary supplemented by what might have been just a passing glance from a professor of psychology at Stanford surveyed authors of willingly retracted papers to see if having a paper retracted was stressful and led to behavior changes.

The finding from 97 respondents (a 1.4% response rate, which is very, very low) is certain to upset all of your expectations:
